The Bead & Button Show, the world's largest consumer bead show, takes place in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, this week. While some classes actually start today, the Bead Marketplace itself is open for the general public Friday through Sunday, with a private shopping preview for registrants on Thursday.
Several of our Bead Art Original members will be offering their spectacular work in the Marketplace. Please visit their booths and let them know that you are a BAO fan (in some cases, this might result in a discount ;o).
Lisa Peters Art
You can find Lisa Peters and her raku, porcelain, and stoneware creations at Booth 1213. She's been hard at work for months getting ready for this show. Her last kiln load went in Saturday night!
MAKUstudio
Marianne Kasparian and her wonderful raku creations will be at Booth 142. Her last load came out of the kiln on Saturday as well. (These photos show some of the beads from that load before they were washed and scrubbed.)
Marianne is offering an additional 10% off your total for any BAO/Facebook/Twitter fans, so be sure to let her know!
Naftali
Janice Abarbanel and her polymer clay magic will be at Booth #1244. She will have at least one collaboration piece with another BAO artist for you to drool over...
Janice is offering a 10% discount on everything to anyone who mentions "BAO," so don't forget!
If you are attending Bead & Button, have fun, support your favorite bead artists, and don't forget to wear good shoes! :D
